Howdy, I’m Rae!

I grew up in eastern New Mexico and spent most of my early childhood riding in a feed pickup, flipping the siren switch and counting cattle for my dad and grandpa. I guess you could say there’s a reason I have an obsession with ranch engagement sessions and weddings.I really do feel at home in a pasture surrounded by cows! When I look back on how long I've been taking photos, I can't believe that the little girl in 4-H who used to enter photography projects in the county fair is actually doing this. Rae Campbell Photography started in 2018. I was craving a creative outlet so I decided to pick up my hand-me-down camera and start learning how to capture and deliver timeless photos of family and friends. I love that I get to merge my love and appreciation for agriculture with this business and tell stories of people who love and appreciate agriculture and the western way of life. On your farm or ranch, at sunset, taking photos of you and your livestock is where I want to be.

When I finished college, I moved to Texas and started my nursing career. I currently live with my husband and our two dogs in Brownfield. We recently welcomed our first baby to the world and I now have my favorite title yet — mom. During the week, I continue to work in our community as a nurse. On the weekends, if I’m not traveling to a session, you can find me at home with my hubby, soaking chasing my one year old, and hanging with our dogs!

I love meeting new people, capturing photos that represent important milestones, documenting memories, and celebrating others' successes! I get to document special moments for wonderful people and a lot of my clients come back year after year. I hope that you’ll be one of them!
